MIMs response to COVID-19
The well-being of our clients, employees and partners as well as the security of their data are at the heart of our concerns!
With the growing global concerns around the situation of the COVID-19, MIMs has been closely monitoring the pandemic and the guidance provided by the Canadian Government and the World Health Organisation. Our Business Continuity Plan and Emergency readiness has been set to be always ready for this type of situation. We have implemented additional measures to ensure the health and safety for our entire team. Thus, we will continue to maintain our obligations to deliver service to current customers, cybersecurity, data confidentiality, GDPR compliance, etc, while working remotely.
Our employees are our most precious resource and lifeblood. Despite being a small company with 30 employees, we have implemented several precautionary measures to ensure the safety and health of our team and ecosystem:
All employees are informed and aware of MIMs Plan for COVID-19 Pandemic and our Business Continuity Plan.
All International or domestic Business trips are cancelled.
Mandatory quarantine when traveling back an international flight.
Staff is informed about the state of the epidemic/pandemic and share reputable advice on how to prevent infection. See the WHO Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) advice for the public: Corona Virus Survival Guide and the Health Canada outbreak update: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection.html
Employees are aware of our travel policy regarding their personal travels.
Employees are highly recommended to work remotely to reduce the spreading of the virus.
Despite working remotely and as part of our commitment to our clients / investors/ partners, we guarantee and enhance Business Continuity:
Execute the Business Continuity Plan.
Employees is informed and aware of our Remote Work Policy for a better Business continuity.
Ensure data protection and compliance.
Ensure the health and the welfare of the team and the ability to work from home, as everything we do is knowledge work and is stored in the cloud. Therefore the most important thing, we can do is make sure everyone is ready for the worst, which in this case is a forced/ highly recommended quarantine at home.
As of now, MIMs will continue to closely monitor the situation and keep you updated with any related change with our situation. We greatly encourage everyone to follow the situation through the Government of Canada Public Health Services.
Your safety and Health is our priority!
